Sandrine Farget travaille le noir comme une couleur et la lumière comme un médium. Elle scrute la matière au plus profond pour exprimer ses émotions, entre douceur et violence. Dans son langage, l'ardoise sculptée est impactée de marbre, de verre, d'émail et de métal. Son univers singulier provient de sa réflexion autour de l'identité : chaque humain, chaque lieu, chaque objet à sa propre identité.Sa collection Opus, à base de rythmes alternatifs et contrastés, met l'accent sur l'identité humaine, tantôt extravertie avec des teintes vives parfois acides, tantôt introvertie avec des noirs puissants, taillés, mats, brillants.L'architecture influence aussi sa sculpture, notamment l'architecture urbaine.
